Before we start analysing plans, we want to understand the home that's already there.
We walk through your space with you, discuss what's working, what isn't, what you want to change and how you want your home to feel and function.
If you're planning an extension, renovation or significant redesign, we may then recommend a Floor Plan Review as the next step.
That means we're not reviewing your plans in isolation. We're reviewing them with an understanding of you, your home and the way you live

How is this different from an In-Home Consultation?
Our in-home consultation is designed for homeowners who want expert advice on their existing home — from furniture placement and colour to finishes, lighting and general design decisions.
A Floor Plan Review is a more detailed design service specifically for a proposed renovation, extension or redesign.
Before we meet, we review your existing and proposed plans, so we arrive already familiar with what you're considering. During the consultation, we walk through your home with the plans in hand, assessing the proposed layout against the reality of the existing space.
We look closely at room sizes, circulation, furniture placement, storage, zoning, sightlines, daylight and how the proposed spaces will connect and function.
Afterwards, you receive a marked-up floor plan and written recommendations that you can use when discussing the next stage with your architect, draftsperson or builder.
An in-home consultation gives you expert advice. A Floor Plan Review gives you a considered assessment of a proposed plan and clear recommendations before you build.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?
Ideally, before your plans are finalised and before construction documentation is completed.
The earlier we review the layout, the easier it is to make meaningful changes without creating unnecessary additional costs.
This service is not designed for new builds.
TIMELINE
We will provide your marked-up plan and written recommendations within 5–7 business days after the consultation and receipt of all required plans and information.
