Personal Design Concept

We always start with a design consultation before we move into the design phase.

We come into your home to advise, guide, and counsel you on what you are attempting to do. We, in turn, provide ideas, resources, concepts, and expertise to help you make decisions and move to the next step.

The consultation fee you pay is for our time to travel to your home and provide you with expertise. We collect this fee ahead of time (prior to the meeting), to ensure that our focus is on the design work we are there for.

After we have discussed the project, and agreed on the scope and you have provided a budget, we will quote for a personalised interior design concept, which is priced by time and complexity.

A complete design solution would include a visual concept and/or a mood board showing materials, colours and design style. A scale floor plan showing flow, furniture sizes, and positions. Black and white concept sketches and/or a fly-through animation and 3D realistic renders. A lighting and/or electrical plan. Paint colour and/or wallpaper selections. Art & mirror sizes and placement. Floor and window treatments, including material selections and colours. Kitchen and bathroom designs include functional space design and layout. We can also specify and provide working drawings for custom joinery design and introduce you to our trades. For a complete design, allow approximately $95 plus GST per sqm. If you have several rooms or joined spaces, that is taken into consideration. If you do not require all of this work, your quote will reflect that.
